JLT Personal Insurance Providers is a specialist division within Thistle Insurance Services Limited, a member of the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, risk management adviser, insurance and reinsurance broker and provider of employee benefit administration services and related consultancy advice. We are the largest European-based company providing these services and are listed on the FTSE250 index of the London Stock Exchange.
Our market-leading industry knowledge and expertise in specialist fields is provided to some of the world's largest companies through to SMEs, private individuals and public organisations. The Group was formed in February 1997 by the merger of Jardine Insurance Brokers and Lloyd Thompson Group. Lloyd Thompson was founded in 1981 and listed on the London Stock Exchange in October 1987. The merger combined Lloyd Thompson’s specialist skills in the London Market with Jardine Insurance Broker’s international network which included a significant presence in the Asia Pacific region.
Today, the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group employs more than 5,000 people worldwide and has offices in most of the developed countries of the world. Our key strengths are the skills and expertise of our people and the agile environment, which encourages entrepreneurialism and teamwork across the organisation in order to meet client requirements and provide creative solutions.
